The Girls' League is a club, of which every girl is a member. The activities this year have been: Hello Day for sophomores, the Campus Capades, tree movie for entire Student Body, a Fashion Show for all the girls, and several other activities which were climaxed by the voting of the one girl that had accomplished most for Girls League this past year 5'f .ii been a ver active group all year If Y taking the responsibility of setting up and tearing down the auditorium for all assemblies They ran movies for the various classes and helped decor ate the gym when there were dances ai WS J STUDENT STORE The Student Store under the cap able management of Anneta Hankms and Miss Neely faculty advisor has done a grand lob this past year The Student Store was open before school at nutrition noon and after school Students could buy pencils paper notebooks and many other school sup plies

HY Robert Hunter Foreman Mr Smith Architect The Hi Y fellas have gone to Montebello to have a meeting with Montebello s Hi Y They sponsored the Dutch Irish Day and at the close of the year they had a party at which they elected new officers for the com mg year it gc RADIO Harold Beal Foreman Mr Long Architect The purpose of the club is to foster Interest in electronics and amateur radio This year they have gone on a field trip to Griffith Park attended a party at Montebello with the Montebello Radio Club and have gone on a snow trip where they took radio equipment ,L N. PROJECTION CREW This small group of boys are all selected from the various radio classes. They ran the movies for classes and also those presented to the Student Body in the Auditorium. 75

OFFICE SECRETARIES AND NURSE The leaders in the office have had a very busy year keeping the attend ance and other records straightened out They are Miss Evelyn Hants sec retary of the vice principals Mrs Mil dred D Welden attendance clerk and Mrs Frances H Sommers secre tary to the principal With the guidance of our nurse Mrs Rath we had a very healthy year 1' T? 7 CUSTODIANS The custodians have been working hard this past year to keep our rooms, halls 'and grounds clean We thank them for the good lob they have done Mr Joe Parque, with the assistance of Mr Walter A Ballew, Mr James E Dale, Mr John F Cousland, Mr. Robert P. McLaren, and gardner Mr. Harry G Learnon, have all done a great lob.
