EL Amos, 1938 , , , History ol the Sophomore CI Like all freshmen, we entered Bel Air High School with a f and fear, for many of us had never known an announcement classes, assemblies, or any of those things you find in a larger s we feel that' our freshman year greatly reduced these fears and year has completely annihilated them. . Thiswas the first year we were allowed to belong to clubs we have made much progress along this line. Some -of the girls, wh in dramatics, organized a club with Mrs. Greer as sponsor. They the '4Stage Struck Sophomoresl' and they elected Marie Louise Gr October 26, we had our class party, and for many of us it wad social event we had attended. We were ably represented in the Student Council by .lames Ell Chilcoat of 2B, Bruce Blevins of 2C, and Ray Andrews of 2D. In February, we were invited to try out for the Glee Club and were accepted for the concert that was presented March 25. The sophomore girls did most of the serving at the P. T. A Senior Prom, and the other suppers 'and banquets that the school ln April, we published our issue of the Bellarion with Frank The assistant editors were Josephine Grove, Ray Wallace, Patricia Newman, Mary Thomas, and Virginia Guytong the literary editors Peggy Ensor, Jean Schnepfe, and Edgar Preston. The feature edi Coale, Jimmie Elliott, Dolores Chilooat, and Edgar Harkins, and were Kitty Cain, Marguerite Miller, Dick Claar, George Pouls Shadle. The sophomores made a grand showing in athletics.
