' w Randall Cronin Charles Stephens Mary Ann Schnepfe Evelyn Hess President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer SENICDR CDFFICERS Class History On a sunny September day of 1934- there entered Bel Air High School a motley array of youth-the largest Freshman Class ever to enter Bel Air High up until that time. Under the rigors of a slight hazing-several boys learned the school had showers. In our new school we had many new experiences: assemblies, changing classes, student council, homerooms, manual training shop, library, etc. That spring the cinder track was completed, in June the iirst Public Address System in a Mary- land School was installed. Then came June and commencement. One year had passed and weiwere Bel Air High's largest Sophomore Class. Everything functioned smoothly and the first thing we knew the year had slipped by us. June again-Juniors at last! ' We .lwere no longer stupid freshmen or silly sophomores but worthy juniors. Vve were growing up, so we elected ,lack Holdt, president, Charles Stephens, vice- presidentg Duncan MacRa-e, secretary, and Randall Cronin, treasurer. This was our year to shine, and shine we did! The soccer team, of which a large number were junior boys, advanced t-0 the finals of the Western Shore Championship which they lost by one goal. Also the girls' basketball team, made up of many junior girls, reached the semi-finals of the Western Shore. After the January examinations, we published the first Junior Bellarionv-a paper worthy of any class. ln May, we entertained the Seniors at the Junior-Senior Prom. Then another June and we were ready to assume the title of Digniiied Seniors. Seniors, ah it was good to be above the plane of ordinary students. We had grown up. Our pictures were taken for our year book, and it was a treat to see all the boys dressed up for several days. At Christmas time, we played host at the Annual Alumni Reception and Assembly, and sponsored the Holiday Dance. From examinations until graduation everything went by all too quickly: Dances, School and College Day, Junior-Senior Prom, Examinations, Commencement, June Ball, Recognition Assembly-now we have only fond memories of four of the happiest years of our life.
