HOME OF THE BOBCATS BEEMER HIGH SCHOOL Alter many long, harsh, mind boggling hours of brainstorming and days upon days without food, restless, and sleepless nights without ICE CREAM. We finally decided upon the most spectacular, colossal, origi- nal (HA! HA! HA!) theme for this year's super yearbook. We got our wonderful idea by looking at all the Energy that the stu- dents of this fine establishment have exerted in this past year. Such things as sports, academics, parties. B-Club, pep club, weekends, driving mains, running concession stands, making this yearbook, and parties. But seriously, we hope you get as much fun and enjoyment out of this book of HIGH ENERGY' now and in years to come while looking through here, as we did making this great book! ... The 1986-8 Annual Staff editors Ann and Kris thinking of another one of their iant ideas. The Bobcat team started out their great season with a stupendous victory over Winside. This was just the beginning of five more victories to follow. The Bobcats faced their first defeat of the year by Bancroft-Rosalie. They were then defeated by Coleridge. These two losses kept the Cats from their hopes of the playoffs. The team finally ended their season with a 66-16 victory over Winne- bago. Head Coach Ron Peck I he Five Super Senior Guys NqMe CtfTvriAjC IQ 86 u a v | Another fun-filled week of Homecoming activities was observed this year, during the week of October 6-11. The school halls were filled with many strange styles of clothing, with each day having a different theme. When these themes were combined, these days made up many, sleepy-eyed, toga wearing dressed up switched around, hippies. The spirit week prizes were awarded to Karla O. and Tim S. for showing the best spirit during the week. The seniors received a monetary prize for their first place window. The Homecoming Royalty was crowned at half time of the victorious football game against Wakefield with a score of 56 to 22. WEDNESDAY: v . TOGA DAY MONDAY: P.J.
