CHESS CL UB The Chess Club, a new club to B.H.S., was organized mainly for entertainment and has approximately twenty-five members. Currently there are no oflicers of the club, although Charles Boswell has been chosen by fellow club members as their acting presi- dent. The club is sponsored by Mr. Rohde. FUTURE TEACHERS OE AMERICA The Future Teachers of America, a branch of the national organization for stutlents who plan to teach in the public schools, was organized in V157 by Mrs, Beulah Ruch. The activities of this group inclutle visiting public schools at the grade level in which they plan to teach, research on the requirements of teacher training. and lectures by student teachers visiting the high school.
