KEY CLUB IS A BUSY GROUP Key Club, an honorary organization for high school boys. was organized in I9-45 by l. M. McFadden and sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club. The Club is limited to thirty members which include I2 seniors, I0 juniors, and 8 sophomores chosen on the basis of social attitude and scholastic standing. It is supervised by Mr. Hartman, assistant principal. Each year the Key Club holds two dances in honor of the football and basketball teams at which an award is given to the Most Valuable Player. lt also holds an annual tally sale and a Father and Son Banquet. , J.. A Liv..-46-qv wi A Skate to Victory was the theme of the Key Club entry in the Homecoming Parade. This novel float won third prize. Their slogan is Pure thoughts, pure worcls, pure actions . Activities of the group, presently sponsored by Mrs. Speer, were a picnic for the freshmen girls, participa- tion in the annual Heart Funcl Drive, ancl the annual Mothers' Day Tea.
