The group is composed of two representatives from each homeroom. lt is responsible for the system of election and regulation in the school clubs. Student Council also helps in the election of yell lenders and sponsors the football Home- coming Ptiritde. Mr. Baldwin, principal, is the sponsor of Student Council, Hoy Sponsors, established in l92f'l by Mr. Merle xl. Abbett and the Girls Council, established in 1926 by Miss Tenre, Dean of Girls, preceded the organization of our Student Council.

KEY CLUB IS A BUSY GROUP Key Club, an honorary organization for high school boys. was organized in I9-45 by l. M. McFadden and sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club. The Club is limited to thirty members which include I2 seniors, I0 juniors, and 8 sophomores chosen on the basis of social attitude and scholastic standing. It is supervised by Mr. Hartman, assistant principal. Each year the Key Club holds two dances in honor of the football and basketball teams at which an award is given to the Most Valuable Player. lt also holds an annual tally sale and a Father and Son Banquet. , J.. A Liv..-46-qv wi A Skate to Victory was the theme of the Key Club entry in the Homecoming Parade. This novel float won third prize.
