It was not until 1958 that a movie projector was secured through the funds of the high school. During l945 students of Bedford High had a chance to learn the mechanism of the machine. Mrs. Margaret Schroedle was supervisor of this instruction, and soon afterward the students were permitted to show films in class. Miss Ruby Byerley is the present supervisor of the projectionists. B.H.S, students are fortunate in having access to a fine film program. An average of 500 films is shown each year to history, typing, home economics, and science classes.
