As we take the last look At the setting sun of our High Scheol Days, May we turn and fix our gaze— On the day—just dawning. Through the four long years of High School, Midst the scenes we loved so well, And the mystic charms to knowledge We vainly seek to spell. But we win athletic victories On the football field we de— And we fight for our Alma Mater, Bedford High School! When the cares of life o’ertake us, Mingling fast our locks with grey, Should our dearest friend forsake us, False fortunes fade away— But we banish care and sadness And recall those memories true, Which were days of gladness In Bedford High School!
