FACULTY The Rulers’ of Bedford High construct the guiding lines that form the basis of our future voca- tions. The teachers sometimes toil over a foot of preparation and teaching in order for students to gain an inch of knowledge. How- ever, with our faculty’s patience and interest, we have gained an immeasurable amount of experi- ence which will benefit us in fu- ture years at home or at work.

With April showers came recognition of our scholars. These students with qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and character were inducted into National Honor Society. This im- pressive program also served as an incentive and goal for underclassmen. In May, senior awards were presented to those seniors who excelled in various school subjects, athletics, and other fields. This assembly was a hint of the fast approaching graduation. For the sophomores and juniors another year is completed and vacation is the reward. Come next September we will be back at Bedford. But for the seniors, our life at Bedford is ended with graduation. The seniors solemnly march down the aisle, and walk across the stage for long awaited diplomas which are received with mixed emotions. These diplomas represent the end of the seniors’ high school days and a key to a new future. 9
