A great deal of the time during the year is spent in get- ting ready for the District Band Contest and the Tri-City Festivlals to be held in Beaver Dam, April 27, Oconomowoc, April 29, and Watertown, May 3. The largest project this year was the Nativity in which about two hundred fifty, selected voices took part. Commerclol Club The Commercial Club resumed its activities for the year under the super- vision of Miss Sinnott. Each year the pu poses are carried out through bi-monthly programs. The Library Club is another of the progressive clubs in the school. It was organized in 1929 and each year since then it has given Beaver Dam High School students an increasingly better library service. The Club consists of high school students whose scholastic average is NB' or better. There are seventeen girls in the club this year. Miss Abra- ham, the librarian, is their advisor. The purpose of the club is to assist the librarian in the management of the library. Every week each member is assigned a daily duty, such as moni- tor, desk attendant, and others of the same nature. Meetings are held bl-monthly. The first is a business meeting held on the first Tuesday of every month. The other is held on the third Tuesday of the month and is a social meetlng.
