The purpose of The League is To hel our school, communiTy, and oTher organ- izaTions. OTTicers were elecTed Temporarilcy in November unTil a meeTing was held in December when permanenT oTTicers were elecTed. The TirsT major acTiviTy for The winTer season was a visiT To Casa Colina, a Chil- dren's ConvalescenT Home. We Took ChrisTmas giTTs To The children and The head nurse showed The girls around The home. The girls who were chosen To go To Casa Colina were Chris Haywood, MargareT Wilson, Fern Tweedy, Gerry Hussey. PaT BaTes, Marjorie Ormsby, Lorna UrTon. Doris Beach, and MyrTle Salinas.
