BETA CLUB This year, the Beta Club chapter of Beaufort High School has found new life under the leadership of Miss Doris Schumpert. At the monthly meetings persons from all walks of life gave talks and show- ed movies about their occupations. One of the club's proiects was the Christmas tree in the lunchroom. HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY ASSISTANTS The librarian, ever aware of the pupils who come regularly to the library, encourages those who show interest and, aptitude to serve as library helpers. HIGH LIBRARY ASSISTANTS The Beaufort Junior High Library Club consists of 22 members selected from the 7th and 8th grades. The purpose of the club is to provide pupil assistants to help in the library. Each member works at least two periods a week. To secure money to finance equipment, dis- plays and exhibits on special occasions is the club's proiect. Meetings are held once a month with a guest speaker from the community.
