CA orua YVifl1 a Song in Their Hearts Beaufort High Schools all-girl choir under the direction of Xliss Kay Felder made its debut at a Christmas concert with the high school hand. XVith the speech class it presented an impressive assembly program at the Easter season. ln the late spring the chorus again joined with the hand to present the final concert of the year Several memhers of the group traveled to Rock Hill to observe the South Carolina Nlusic Festival held at Nlwintlirop College in April. Included in the weekly class schedule is two days of directed listening to xvell-known classi- cal and semi-classical music. At present there are thirty-five girl memhers with Beverly Shell the newly-selcwted accom- panist. Six boys were memhers of the chorus first semester. In front: Janis XVarren.
