Wmlmf Scholarship and Service The Marshals, organized at BHS in 1957-58, are the twelve students who have the highest scholastic aver- ages during their freshmen, sophomore, and junior years. A striking red band, edged and lettered in white, is the official insignia of the Marshals. Top-ranking juniors are initiated in late spring so that they may serve officially during the commence- ment season. The quota will he filled early in the new school year. Marshals serve as ushers at all school functions. Upon invitation they will assist with programs sponsor- ed hy civic groups or organizations if the activity is ap- proved hy the school officials.
