The 1956 team made track a big thing around B. H. S. The Ticlal Wave goes into the '57 season with a record 15 straight wins. After winning the Lower Stateltitle with about 10 out of 15 first places, the team went on to capture second place in the state. The Wave placed more men in the events than any other team, but didn't manage quite enough points to win the meet.
