AFTER LEAVING USS AFFRAY, LCDR LYONS SERVED IN THE BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL AS AN ASSIGNMENT AND PLACEMENT OFFICER IN THE SURFACE WARFARE OFFICER DISTRIBUTION DIVISION.
