Helping those who want to check out books and keeping track of the fines are other duties taken care of by the librarians. Joyce Lit- tell, Pat Brown, Peggy Bitting and Jennie Boughtin are working at the desk. Douglas Waltz is trying to find the needed book from the reserve shelf. LIBRARY Part of the librarian's everyday job is helping students find ref- erence material. Looking up definitions in the dictionary are Darlene Schenck and Anita Max- well. Naomi Reimer and Sharon Fisher are working at the maga- zine rack while Helen Schmierer and Ruth Snyder use the card catalogue. Librarians Barbara Martin, Judy McClure, and LaRita Heinke are looking through some books for information while Judy McCown. Susan Grussing. and Mary Scheve read shelves. This year librar- ians attended weekly meetings where they discussed library work.
