Sponsors are Mrs. Heilman and Mrs. Cupp. Gamma Tri-Hi-Y is a service club for junior girls . Besides contributing to the West Side YMCA, some of the service projects are helping the St. Labre Indians of Montana, playing Santa to a welfare child, and helping collect for worthwhile charities . Gamma also has great times at conventions and the annual Powder Puff football game. 29

Sponsor is Mrs. Hembree. Alpha Tri-Hi-Y is a service club whose purpose is to create, maintain, and extend, throughout the home, school, and community, high standards of Christian character . The fifty-five members aredi -vided into six groups which do service projects each month. Some of the events sponsored by Alpha are the Powder Puff football game, the Mother-Daughter Banquet, and the Twirp Dance. 28

Some of the long-range projects of 1968-1969 are: 1. Sponsoring a child at Christmas . 2. Selling things made by the mentally retarded. 3 . Working with the county welfare department 4.
