NEW DIRECTIONS new exterior greeted us as we began another year at Beall. Work on reconstructing the building still moved toward completion, but other differ- ences occurred during the summer too. The Belles boasted a new advisor as Mrs. Su- zanne Cosner took over the reins from Mrs. Judy Conrad. Four officers began plans for their trip to Ireland to repre- sent the drill team in a Superstar performance. The first day of school brought about the usual schedule problems, but new guidance counselor, Mrs. Dana George, worked with Mr. Bill Orndorff to get our sched- ules ironed out. Construction work still affected the building. The cho- rus room didn’t have heat and an occasional blackout darkened the building. But the changes really didn’t bother us. We were used to it. Officers, Patti Frost. Amy Byrnes, Katie Roland. Lori Duckworth, and Stacey Alexander demonstrate a new technique for making the drill team line straight. Over the summer, the drill team learned and practiced new ideas which the officers brought back from camp. 6 S ame Difference Getting schedule changes, seniors meet with guid- ance counselor William Orndorff and adminis- trative assistant Leonard Ritchie in the library. Be- cause they had the priority, seniors’schedules were the first to get corrected.
