C. cha- mps, and West Virginia State champs, rolled over the Moun- taineers for an easy 24-0 vic- tory. Jim Brady stops after skirting left end during the muddy Thanksgiving Day game. The Allegany Campers got re- venge on Beall for their defeat last year by defeating the Mountaineers 18-6. Although playingconditions were bad, the Mountaineers put up a good fight. As a grand climax to the football season, the Mountaineers defeated the LaSalle Explorers 21-0. Jack Payne and Joe James were the lead- ing scoring men for Beall in this game played in a sea of mud. 89 Wayne Harper Halfback They Petersburg 12 Myersdale 19 Southern 7 Fort Hill 14 Romney 7 Musselman 0 Northern 0 Keyser 24 Allegany 18 LaSalle 0 Sen Jack Payne Halfback iors INDIVIDUAL SCORES T.
