N , 75,63 MM, Saw X ! xii JN N sf ei fi., We have come to the end of another school year, but to us of the senior class of 1955, it marks the completion of many memorable events in which we partici- pated. Although everyone has stood out in his own right, there are those members in the senior class who have brought noticeable fame and honor to our school, and those who have been outstanding in various activities while at Beall. Coordination, speed, a strong defense, intricate plays, heavy scoring power, and high team spirit was Coach Ebbie Finzel's recipe for his W.M.I. championship basketball team. We indeed commend them on their great success. This year, the football team, under the coaching of Ray Hull, made its debut under the newly installed stadium lights. Our team had a good season, one of which we can be very proud. VVith 6 wins and only 4 losses, we saw a lot of good ball playing and some mighty hard-fought games. Soccer headed off a well-rounded athletic program which produced many of our outstanding athletes. Wrestling, a somewhat recent sport at Beall, was one of the toughest hard- luck teams in the area with no wins. But a number of noticeable senior wrestlers racked up individual wins and the team gained a reputation of sportsmanship. joel Downey brought honor to Beall by becoming Boy Governor in Maryland Model Legislature ..... Adam Baer. by placing in the Voice of Democracy contest ..... Dorothy Elrick, by winning the Homemaker of Tomorrow award . . . 34 ' f . 011451 -0 I ,yit teii:'f',XfS-o!l,Z4,4,4j.f5 Je- . : , 0 'l I 1 ' ' 21 -'U' flwd MWC-ff'f A' 7 '7 .
