Field Hockey Field hockey is a sport that takes endurance, mobility, and strategy. The Lady Marlin field hockey team possesses all of these characteristics and more - as shown by their record of 4-3-3. tri-captains Lorrie Anderson, Karen Edgerton, and Cheryl Carmack. They were coached by Ms. Nocher who t has been coaching the field hockey E team for the past 12 years. Each year she seems to come up with an even better team. jeff jones, Kenny Costin, and Chris Cook lead the team through ups and downs Bayside's Cross Country team suffered its first defeat in years in losing to Cox Q30-275. Under David Shoemake, the Cap- tain, they rallied to an otherwide unde- feated season against Kempsville f29-305, First Colonial C17-457, Kellam 116-487, and Princess Anne Q15-509.
