'K Heidi Marella appears to be enjoying her job at Roses. Many Bayside students spend long hours working at Pon- derosa. I Why do so many students look exhausted every morning? Did they stay up last night studying for a chemistry test or writing a last-minute term paper? No, many Bayside students stayed up cooking hamburgers, selling books, taking movie tickets, and operating cash registers. McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, Ponderosa, The Movies, Roses, Circle Six Theaters, and the SPCA are some of the places Bayside students spend their extra tand not-so-extraj time. For some students, working is a necessity. Because of the great expense, most students work to pay their way through college. Other studentsvvork to have money for such things as gas and food.
