Performances during the Christmas Holi- days were made on the Dick Lamb Show, Midday, and The Mike and Lynn Show. Live shows at Pembroke Mall and local churches climaxed the busy yule sea- son. At times it seemed as if the Madrigals sang more than they slept or attended classes. But the spirit they infused in Bayside lpeaked at Omnibusl made us happy What better purpose could music serve? 20

International Relations ,tx is I ,O .if T7 International Relations Club-Beth Lake, Scott, Beth Bray, Irene Chan, Laurie Williamson, Valerie Pharis, Iaye Alderman, Greg Richardson, Dolly Huffman, Ms. Spicher - o itical Interest Throughthe guidance of Mr IA Singleton the political interest club had quite an exciting year The purpose of the club was to get the students involved In our governmental process at local stste and federal levels The in volvement which was aided by the club s activities included sup port to candidates for the house of delegates for speaking engage ments and attending a model Con gress at Richard Bland College in the spring I 4 Qi -Sl Pop Coin Bank-a-Roo Ask any International Relations Club member what it is and you'll probably be sorry you did. The banks along with other items were sold in order to raise money for New York. just as in the past two years, Bayside has attended a model United Nations. This year Bay- side represented Bulgaria. Early this year, a group of mostly last year's members at- tended a model UN at Harvard University. Through both trips and the guidance of Ms. Spic- her the I.R.
