Naval Science of- fers opportunities far beyond the day-to-day comraderie of the Corps. Along with assisting at Cross-Country and Track meets, marching in parades such as the Neptune Festival, and participat- ing in Drill competitions such as the ODU and Norfolk State Invita- tionals, the Corps has had a vari- ety of field trips capped by an overnight on the USS Miller FF1051. Students Assist Librarians Have you ever won- dered who makes out the thousands of over- due book notices? Student assistants in the library-along with tending 20,000 books, 80,000 card catalog entries,and 1200 stu- --! . dent cards-perform this thankless task every day. They also compile a newspaper scrapbook ofclippings listing Bay- side's achievements .aa P' twhich are, of course, innumberableb.
