i X The Marching Ambassadors have n done it again. Among the many - I awards they received during the 1977-78 school year was a first place at the University of Richmond Band Day. The band also placed third, with the percussion section receiving a first at the ECU Band Day. When the band is not winning awards at various competitions, they are marching in parades and at special events, the biggest of which was the Thanksgiving Day parade in Philadelphia. The Neptune Fes- tival parade andthe annual Christmas concert helped fill out a crowded schedule that included hours of practice and rehearsal.
