A-L-M Furthers Language Proficiency Under the chairmanship of Mrs. Rodriguez, the Foreign Language department emphasized the de- velopment of four skills vitally important to the assimilation of another language, listening, compre- hending, speaking, and writing. Thus the aim of each teacher was to enhance the students' linguistic abilities through the use of the A-L-M series which has been used in the German and French curriculum and was initiated in Spanish this year.
