IB6 .V. Wrestlers Have The J. V. Wrestling team, coached byyMr. Weav- er and Bob Gentry, ended the season with a suc- cessful 7-4 season. Because of iniuries to the varsitv wrestlers, many of the J.V's wrestled at least one varsity match. Varsity Grapplers Have Disappointing Season Gene Limbaugh attempts to break his Granby opponent down. Ending the season with a 3-lO record, the Marlins had close matches against Western Branch, Kellam, and Norview. Coached by Mr. Weaver, Mr. Hicks, and Bob Gentry, the Marlins were plagued by inexperience and iniuries. Only five members of the team had any experience, iniuries resulted in the use of J.V.'s in decisive matches. Outstanding team members included Jerry Payne fl45l and Gene Limbaugh il67l, who placed fourth and fifth respectively in the Eastern District tournament. Hurdles and shots were put to use in order that the members of the team could be in the best possible shape for their meets.
