English Teachers Urge Student Involvement Into an effort to increase interest in the curriculum, the English teachers placed their emphasis on student participation. Specifically, every teacher acted as the catalyst for discussions derived from the topics in the curriculum. In this manner, every student was offered the chance to express his views, and the teacher as well as the student could benefit from the ideas pre- sented.
