0 arlins Win Four in a Row The Marlins put the finishing touches on their best season ever by outshooting the Deep Creek Hornets 56-48. From there Bayside moved on to its tourna- ment battle with First Colonial. However, the Pa- triots removed the Marlins from further competition by a score of 79-58. No varsity team can succeed without veteran players so the J.V. basketball team provided bud- ding stars with the experience necessary for them to step up to the varsity level. Coach Edgar Parker drummed into his players the skills, the drive, and the teamwork needed for success on the court. The team's 7-11 record could not begin to convey the wealth of seasoning the J.V. players gained.
