QQ GAA Encourages A Hard hit by many graduations, the Girls Athletic Association had to regroup at the beginning of the year. A membership drive and election of officers put the club back on its feet. Besides being active in field hockey, basketball, gymnastics, and volley- ball, the members held several car washes and doughnut sales. With the members' aid, the G.A.A. once more proved hard to beat. x Daly 4' 1 v' X .4'n ' ,5 . - - ' QQ- sc. - , .- - IL--' , 1- YN , . . 4 h'-'I ' i' I , ' 3 Q 1... ku: in l F -sqg if ..-1 -.'1 'T ' Q9 1 ' f + - 5 r. s'? 60 Pep Club Provides BHS Spirit The BHS Pep Club was one of the most active clubs in the school, especially during the football and basketball seasons. Members could be seen trying to steady ladders while others dangled from the crossbars as they decorated the goalposts for home games. Gaily colored banners with rousing slogans adorned the halls days before games. To spread some of the enthusiasm to the rest of the stu- dents, Pep Club members sold spirit ribbons and hurled themselves into the frenzy of Spirit Night.
