Y Teens Find First Year Busy Joining the many activities at Bayside, a new club, Chi Omega Y-Teens, led by Janet Ore, began the year with a service proiect devoted to their aid- ing the SPCA with newspapers and food as well as their adopting a dog. One special center of interest was the Y-Teens Beach House, the scene of several paiama parties. In addition, they planned to visit an old folks home regularly as further service to the community. 48 ll A I A 4 ss .sg I Honestate Wins is y First Place in Homecoming Competition A wealth of projects filled Honestate Tri-Hi-Y's year. Charity baskets for the holiday season, the POW-MIA petitions distribution, and blackboard cleaning were among the services Honestate ren- dered. Almost as a reward for its enthusiasm, spirit posters, and spirit chains, the club won First Place for its Homecoming Float. The football team re- ceived much of Honestate's attention. Mums and yarn dolls were sold, cupcakes were given to the football team at the final game, a banquet was thrown for the team.
