Keyettes sponsored the Homecoming Spirit Chain and gave otherwise shy students the chance to buy the girl of their choice during their Slave Sale. Then the climax of the year came - Christ- mas. Keyettes sold Just-a-Notes, spirit links for all basketball games, and candy canes.'The annual Sil- ver Bell Ball was held, co-sponsored with the Key Club. Spring found the Keyettes active in many so- cial functions. The Keyettes made their service felt. I have this Problem. The club backed the Marlins during the football season by managing the refreshment stands. To polish Bay- side's image, the Key Clubbers undertook the task of cleaning up the stadium after football games. In association with the Keyettes, the club sponsored their annual Christmas dance, the Silver Bell Ball. During this gala event, the members bestowed the title of Key Club Sweetheart on Mari-Bea Coles. The club closed its year by sending twenty representa- tives to the Key Club International Convention. I do not want to be in this situation, moans John Doherty. Wait 'til they get a taste of this batch! chortles Carl SchIuter.r - Af' hir .' y

Y Teens Find First Year Busy Joining the many activities at Bayside, a new club, Chi Omega Y-Teens, led by Janet Ore, began the year with a service proiect devoted to their aid- ing the SPCA with newspapers and food as well as their adopting a dog. One special center of interest was the Y-Teens Beach House, the scene of several paiama parties. In addition, they planned to visit an old folks home regularly as further service to the community. To complete their first year, the Y-Teens held a Mother-Daughter Banquet in the spring. I .5 '- ,f' ly P Thomas R Doughty, J. Goodrich, C. Grissom, D. Beshears, D. Buchannan.
