The club backed the Marlins during the football season by managing the refreshment stands. To polish Bay- side's image, the Key Clubbers undertook the task of cleaning up the stadium after football games. In association with the Keyettes, the club sponsored their annual Christmas dance, the Silver Bell Ball. During this gala event, the members bestowed the title of Key Club Sweetheart on Mari-Bea Coles. The club closed its year by sending twenty representa- tives to the Key Club International Convention.
