40 Drama Club Presents A Christmas Collage The Drama Club, with Miss Cobb as its new spon- sor, brought its brand of stagecraft back for anoth- er year's engagement at Bayside. To help area tour- ism, the club entertained visiting conventions and auditioned to become the resident troupe at the Sheraton lnn Hotel. The many talents of the mem- bers were invaluable to the success of their multi- faceted Christmas production, A Christmas Collage. The entertainment they provided made the Seniors' Miss Bayside Pageant a smashing success. The club entered the District One-act Play competition anx- ious to add another win to its record. Besides put- ting on the play, Flowers for Algernon, the club car- ried its innovations still further by staging the poetry of Spoon River Anthology. AEC Christmas Tree Sale Raises Money for the Club s Annual Florida Keys Trip Gathered together by the common desire to delve into the field of biology, the Atlantic Ecology Club used various fund-raising proiects, including the sale of Christmas trees and wreaths, for the highlight of the year - the annual trip to the Flori- da Keys. Also, several short trips to Morehead City and Ocracoke, North Carolina in the fall and spring provided added experience in collecting fish.
