Art Club Aids Spirit With Fighting arlin An interest in art was the only requirement for member- ship in the Art Club. To begin their year they made posters for the band. Not to be left out of the spirit campaign, the club brought its Fighting Marlin to football games and rolled it around the field during halftime. The iudging of Christmas door decorations was another of the club's many proiects. To top off its year, the Art Club held its main moneymaking project, The Spring Art Show. , 0 . . Club de Espanol Visits Colombian Ship This year's Spanish Club, sponsored by Mrs. Ro- driguez, was a tremendous success. The club mem- bers, led by President Nancy Wendt, molded great ideas into prosperous proiects, such as the Novem- ber doughnut sale and the collection of soap-n- Koolaid for soldiers abroad. Cultural activities in- cluded singing Spanish Christmas carols and visiting the interesting Columbian ship, Covadonga. All these projects gave the chance to continue their fas- cinating club. AEC Christmas Tree Sale Raises Money for the Club s Annual Florida Keys Trip Gathered together by the common desire to delve into the field of biology, the Atlantic Ecology Club used various fund-raising proiects, including the sale of Christmas trees and wreaths, for the highlight of the year - the annual trip to the Flori- da Keys. Also, several short trips to Morehead City and Ocracoke, North Carolina in the fall and spring provided added experience in collecting fish.
