Pom-poms were sold during the football season, and a dough- nut sale also helped increase the treasury. Each membe was initiated during a Tapping Ceremony or the Awards Assembly. The year was full of plans for service proiects working toward the betterment Of Bayside. BHS Band Enjoys Second Year Under Mr. Rule The sound ofthe Bayside Band, conducted by Mr. Rule, resounded throughout the year. The band, acting as both entertainer and cheerleader, was an integral part of the football scene. Its annual winter and spring concerts had splendid turnouts, with the musicians playing a variety of musical styles.
