Delegates tlttenrt Bees' and Girls' State A training conference in Virginia government is held every year for out- standing students. Girls' State is held at Radford College and Boys' State at VPI. These conventions each last one week. In this week the students learn about Virginia government and they are given the opportunity to show their ovvn leader- ship abilities. She has been in both the Junior and Senior Honor Societies and was on l3ayside's first Scholastic Team. Rhonda Hamilton, Valedictorian of the class ot '68, has been an outstanding student all through high school. She has been a member of Keyettes and Honor Society for three years.
