TO ENROLL OR T0 ENLIST was the constant thought running through every Baylor man's mind on that ill-fated day, December 8, 1941. It was registration day-but one could hardly tell it by the grim faces of students who gathered at Waco Hall. President Roosevelt was addressing Congress when the photographer appeared on this scene. Yesterday, December T, he was saying, is a date Which shall live in infamy. '5AIways will we remember tl1e character of the on- slaught against us.
