HOMECOMING More Homecomers. The Baylor of yesterday comes baclc to see the Baylor of today. Slceeter is caught on the corner-hat, coat, and all- on the day before the T. C. U. game. Lefty Ellison used to have more smolce out on that baseball diamond than he is getting out of that pipe. Aslc Uncle Billy Disch. We can't quite tell whether that is a pipe or a saxophone that Raiford Stainbaclc has. But, after all, who cares? No, Stainy didn't pay for this space. Our Photographer catches Joe Potter at his old home, the Greer House. Looks lcind of natural to the old-timer. Instead of Casey at the bat, here we have Casey and his Ford. 5, The big shots on the campus. Dean Jones and President Allen come out with smiles, good-will tags and Baylor Spirit to cele- brate homecoming. HOMECOMING Homecoming day, and the corner hums with wel- comes and old grads. Twist Newberry comes back to give the corner and the girls a treat. Loolc at that smile. fQ, And here comes Bob Kierslcy and Hilda Marsh. They don't seem to mind being back very much, either. ff, Now, what do you know about that? Dee .laclcson returns to Baylor campus as a full-fledged school marm. .97 And there is Dave God- dard. We have an idea Coach Wolf would lilce to see this speedy gentleman back to stay. Q. Johnnie Rock , Florence -another one of the Rey- nolds sisters-and Aubrey Smith make a trio to help Fill that Baylor rooting sec- tion. CONVENTION This fall was convention time for Waco. During the Thanksgiving holidays, hun- dreds of future Baylor stu- dents thronged the campus in attendance at the B. Y. P. U. Convention. Big Chief Gardner, Mrs. Gardner, and son. l'le's lcnown wherever the name of B. Y. P. U. is lcnown. Uh-huh l Rev. Wharton of Bryan was another of the leaders of the convention. TQ The chairman of Waco's entertainment for the con- ventioners was Ray Rozell, educational worlcer for the First Baptist Church of Waco. These two smiling young ladies have just finished their duties as secretaries and stop to chat a while. ln the scene above, we see that all ages attended.
