The Music Department BAYLESS' Music Department this year has a Boys' Glee Club, a Girls' Glee Club and a course in Music Appreciation. A feature of the Appreciation course has been an active Music Club. Each month the club has presented pro- grams dealing with various phases of American Music. Each group has appreciated the advantage of having a larger music room as Well as a longer time for rehearsals and programs. Membership in the groups provides an opportunity to learn to sing better, and to learn more about music and its interpretation. High is the Boys' Glee Club, which consists of thirty-two men, who, although they are not Lawrence Tibbets, are willing to use their vocal chords to the best of their ability to produce harmony, melody and rhythm. This year's glee club boasts of the largest membership since the boys' glee club was organized five years ago. If the glee club continues to advance, as it has in past years, it will stand out as one of the best in St. Louis County.
