CO-EDITORS This year, 1980-81, has been full of many exciting experiences. As you turn through these pages, we hope you will relive some of the special moments you shared with your friends, classmates, and teammates. We would like to thank the annual staff for all of their time and effort they spent putting this yearbook together. We hope you enjoy it. £lf JLiUrr 0L r ' Marcella Sanchez Business Manager 2 BOARD OF EDUCATION L to R: Mr. John Kugle, Mr. Monty Wommer, Mrs. Barbara Bushey, Mr. Wayne Dugger, Mr. Tom Taylor. SUPERINTENDENT PRINCIPAL High School Mr. Herb Weissenfels Whatever years are allotted to each of us, no one ever knows ahead of time. When a moment passes it is gone forever, and nothing can recall it. The years in high school for our seniors are only memories now. For some, these remembrances are tender and warm; for others they are bland, neutral, per- haps even colorless. In Shakespeare's words, however, What's done cannot be undone. Nonetheless there is a large, looming future awaiting all of you to be seized aggressively so that your lives will be filled with time well spent and years well lived. Mr. Gordon Bradshaw Upon these few pages of your yearbook you will find a record of your achievements at Bayfield High School. Brief they are in print, but long and happy may be the memory of them. The same energy and force which has marked your pro- gress here, the joyous spirit, the open mindedness; these are the qualities that Bayfield High would have you ever retain. I extend to you my best wishes and last- ing friendship. PRINCIPAL Mid-School Mr. John Miller Herbert Hoover once said, Children are our most valuable natural resource. One cannot be dedicated to the field of education without feeling the immense responsibility to the stu- dents. They are the chal- lenge, reward and delight of this profession. I feel every decision must be made with the student in mind. 3 FACULTY Mrs. Carol Blatnick Home Economics f Mr. Wayne Dugger Science Mr. Houston Green Counselor, Coach Mrs. Susan Jones English, Spanish Mr. James Jones Shop, Building Trades, Coach Mrs. Sharon Kimball Math, Coach Mr. Vernon Kimball Science, Math, Coach Mrs. Mary Leech Librarian, English 4 Mrs. Vada Martin Social Studies, Coach Mr. Ed Marty Enlish, Current Events, P.E., Coach Mrs. Maxine McEwen Business, Coach Mr. Jeraod F.
