Superintendent In the Book of Ecclesiastes, there is a passage which indicated that Thera is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to gather stones and a time to throw stones.... Graduation is one of these times. It might be described as a time to come in and a time to go out. Having reached this milestone in your young careers, it is now a time to go out - to make your mark in the world, to gain suc- cess, to go on to greater things. It is my earnest hope that your years in the Bayfield Schools have adequately prepared you for going out, and in the fu- ture, as you look through this book, you will be able to say that it was good to have been there. Mr. Ed Townsend Principals School is what you make of it. Those people whose pic- tures are shown in this book have tried to take advantage of all that school has to of- fer. Our programs are suc- cessful because our students are successful. School is like a church in that it is not the building that counts but the valued people who make up the group. Our stu- dents are priceless to me and I wish them well. Winning is not everything, but the effort put forth is. So, remember, success is one per- cent inspiration and ninety- nine percent perspiration.
