Dedicates We, the Annual Staff, wish to dedicate this yearbook to Sam Tate. Sam has been very active In Bayfield High School. He Is a very fine athlete and a very fine person. Due to an illness, he was not able to attend much of this last school year and we all missed him. SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Students: These words will be timely now and could be used for the rest of your life. Try to put well into practice what you already know, and in so doing you will discover the hidden things you now in- quire about. Practice what you know, and it will help to make clear what you now do not know. Make life meaningful: Do more than exist Do more than touch Do more than look Do more than read Do more than hear Do more than listen Do more than think Do more than talk Live Feel Observe Obsorb Listen Understand Ponder SBy something. To you for the first graders we coming our way. say Welcome. To the seniors, we thank Sincerely Tom Hill, Superintendent ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE By the time this annual is published and back to you, another school year will almost be history. For many of you this will be your last school year, for soon you will be in the service or work- ing or getting married and raising a family. For all of you this annual will be a storehouse of memories that will somehow appear brighter each time you look at the annual. Not all of these mem- ories will be of happy times but each will be relived many times in these pages. The more of yourself you invest in school, the more these mem- ories will mean to you. My wish for each of you is that you will invest enough of yourself in this year and in every year so that your memories will be good ones. Sweat, tears, and hard work is the formula not only for success but also for pleasant memories. May you have many of them. ({f FACULTY Miss Altman English Mrs. Jasies Librarian .
