Your Superintendent, As the school year draws to a close, you are making preparations to take the next step in the walk of life. Your life as a high school student will have terminated. As you leave Bayfield High School, you will each take a different path. I sincerely hope that your experiences in the past four years have prepared you to walk in such a man- ner that your lives and your community will be richer because of your attitude toward your fellow citizens. May you never forget that the richest possessions you may acquire are friends, and that in order to acquire them, your actions must be governed by certain basic princi- ples. Never say an unkind word about another, be considerate of the feelings of others, be loyal, and above all - smile. If I may leave a last word with you, let it be this: Happiness is not found in the accumulation of dollars. Pride in your friends, yourself, and your community will bring the greatest happiness that anyone can experience. May your search for it be fruitful. TO THE BAYFIELD WOLVERINES OF 1962

The 1962 Wolverine is proudly dedicated to the boys and girls of Bayfield High School, who have fought to win the above trophies. The wearers of the Purple and Gold have maintained a reputation for good sportsmanship. The lessons learned on the fields and courts are carrying over into good citizenship of many who have gone out from B.H.S. into adult life. We salute you! Continue to fight, fight, fight, for hon- esty and fair play in the game of life.
