PROPHECY Bayfield, Colorado May 20, 1982 Dear Mrs. Parks, The Class of 1962 has decided to hold a reunion at the Coloradoan Cafe as the guests of owner David Glenn and co-owner James Davenport. We regret that Larry Forsythe and Bobbie Jo Roberts, the nation's top twisters in the early 1960's, won't be able to make the reunion as they are convalescing in the Val- ley View Rest Home from a severe case of twistitus. They were trying to popularize a revival of the twist. However, we won't worry too much because they are under the expert care of Dr. Eugene Beaver and his head nurse, Barbara Sower. Richard Snodgrass has monopolized the strawberry market with his sensational new strawberry the Red Rich. Vivian Rathjen, world-famous opera singer, won’t be able to attend as she is on tour in France. Jana Crary will fly here from New York where she has become quite well-known for her famous million-seller, How to Get the Best Out of Your Life. Wealthy Judy Tubbs, grower of prize-winning sheep and recent winner of the Mrs. Sheep Grower of America title, will honor us with her presence, accompanied by her assistant, Janet Morrison. Ruth Hotz, director of the Bell Telephone Company, will present free calls to the members of the class so that they can visit with Bob Davis and Dan Weddle, who are on a safari in deepest, darkest Africa in search of Don Ragland, who still doesn’t be- lieve in going to college.
