HISTORY The long march toward learning began in September 1950, under the direction of Mrs. Marach. Of the thirty that began there are only six left of the original class. These are James Davenport, Vivian Rathjen, Eugene Beaver, Donna Reed, Janet Mor- rison, and Dan Weddle. The class was guided through grade school by Mrs. Mair, second grade; Mrs. Ost- wald, third grade; Mrs. Kelley, fourth grade; Mrs. Folsom, fifth grade; Mrs. Martin, sixth grade; Mrs. Smith, seventh grade; and Mrs. Crowell, eighth grade. Initiation was one remembered event of our freshman year. The freshmen became much wiser in the ways of high school. Movies were shown as a class project during the year by the sophomores. The junior year was a very busy one. The juniors gave the play, ROCKET IN HIS POCKET. Lots of hard work went into the Prom, but all efforts were rewarded Prom night. The theme was Aloha, Hawaii. Class rings were received this year also. The big year is now here. Seniors are looking forward to the Junior-Senior Prom, Sneak Day, and most eagerly awaited of all, Commencement exercises. Prospective graduates are Judy Tubbs, Richard Snodgrass, Eugene Beaver, Bob Davis, Donna Reed, Jana Crary, Barbara Sower, David Glenn, Don Ragland, Dan Weddle, Bobbie Jo Roberts, Ray Frost, Janet Morrison, Vivian Rathjen, Larry Forsythe, Ruth Hotz, and James Davenport. CLASS WILLS I, Judy Tubbs, will my calmness to Wanda Mann. I, Richard Snodgrass, will my ability to spell to Stewart McCoy. I, Eugene Beaver, will my ability to make good grades in Math to Lila Cundiff. I, Bob Davis, will my ability for flattering the teachers to Celina Gilbert. I, Donna Reed, will my love of good times to Pete Mclnnes; the more the merrier. Right, Petey? I, Jana Crary, will my bad habit of saying the right thing at entirely the wrong time to Shirley Sower. I, Barbara Sower, will my extreme tallness to Leland Roundy. I, David Glenn, will my extreme shortness to Stewart McCoy. I, Don Ragland, will my outstanding weight to him who needs it most. I, Dan Weddle, will my red hair to Arnold Archuleta. I, Bobbie Jo Roberts, will my talkativeness to any quiet, shy person. I, Ray Frost, will my ability to find my way back to civilization to Dickie Trimble. I, Janet Morrison, will my curly hair to Selma Snodgrass. I, Vivian Rathjen, will my flats to Mrs. Tubbs. I, Larry Forsythe, will my neckscarf and my name, Joe College, to Don Gosney. I, Ruth Hotz, will my grades to Linda McConnel. I, James Davenport, will my saxophone to Sammy Pinnecoose.
