CLASS PROPHECY As we look into the future ten years from now, we see the following: Donald McIntyre is married now, but guess what: Martha let Kay Larsen beat her time. Kay is making a good farmer’s wife. Cora Landreth has gone to Alaska. You know that in Alaska a girl can get married within two weeks. We wonder if that could be the reason for her going. John Purcell is now at the head of a large Chemistry laboratory, but don’t get us wrong; he is standing at the entrance. Jane Thieme has bought part interest in a “Trading Post” in Gallup, New Mexico. We didn’t know the guy that drives a blue convertible and has blond hair was an Indian. Helen McCarthy is a housewife with three brats, her husband still driving the 7-Up truck. . Lois Butler is now owner of a dude ranch at La Boca. She married a rich man!!! Harold LePlatt is still a single man and also a school teacher at Bayfield High. The girls are still after him!!! Sarah Davis is still working at the cafe and flirting with the truck drivers. We don’t know why she doesn’t marry one of them and get it over with. Faye Haga now has six boys who are all going to be 6’4” tall and good basketball players. Dean Halverson has put up a little shop. He is developing photos and designing airplanes; but don’t get excited, it is just toy ones. CLASS WILL The Senior Class of 1950 wills the following: Jane Thieme wills her temper to Roberta Pierson; we hope she never uses it. Cora Landreth wills her figure to Kenneth McCoy. What a combination I Sarah Davis wills her lavender lipstick to Edwin Scofield. It is the only way he will get any on his face. Faye Haga wills her ability to get along with Jeanie Wells to Merle Harrison. Lois Butler wills her Model A to Larry Smith. We wonder if he could make good use of it. John Purcell wills his curly hair to Wilma Wells. We hope she uses it. Helen McCarthy wills her good disposition to Victor Neuenschwander. Why don’t you use her smile, Victor? Donald McIntyre wills Martha Shelhamer to Dwight Ward. Harold LePlatt wills his ability to get along with the teachers to Raymond Wells. Dean Halverson wills his ability to get along with Mr. McColum to Martin Landreth. Martin, why don’t you take advice !!!
