Mm? Raw BAYFIELD did not visit many different ports during the cruise. However those that were visited were quite varied in their appeals. Okinawa, Subio, Kaohsiung, Sasebo, and Hong Kong were the ports, other than Da Nang, where we enjoyed some liberty. In DaNang, ten per cent of the crew was allowed to go ashore for recreation. Only Hong Kong was listed as an R 82 R port, all the others were visited for upkeep or the embarkationfdebarkation of Marines.
